Heroine was a production written and directed by local artists. Each one-act play protrayed reimagined fairytales with strong female protagonists.
The Experiment of Dr. Wolfe:
A reimagining of the "Little Red Riding Hood" fairytale based in modern day.
Skeleton Woman:
This silent play allows audiences to imerse themselves in the sad tale of a young woman fighting to stay afloat against a terminal illness.
Daughters of Air:
A dark comedy loosly based on the grim fairtytale of "The Little Mermaid". Three young women struggle with poverty, drug addiction and a world that has simply forgotten them altogether.
Red Shoes:
An inditement of close-minded, small town religious folk that socially crusfies the innocent while the guilty roam free.
